Bob McMorrow and Frank Rothwell fished the 3 mile reefs with Capt. Lindy on Tuesday. They had good Spanish Mackerel action casting silver spoons and jigs. Bob got a nice 26 inch Red Fish that went for a pin fish while Frank had a brief tussle with a tarpon until the fish jumped and snapped the leader. The Tarpon took a live Lady Fish on a balloon rig.

Jim Moxley, son Kevin and friend Kristine, fished the Wiggins 5 mile Reef Saturday. They caught and released over a dozen Spanish Mackerel, a 6 ft. Black Tip that took Kevin around the boat at least 10 times. This shark took a flat lined Jack on a Penn 850. They also released several under sized Grouper.

Chris Gilies fished the Wiggins 3 Mile reef with Capt. Lindy Yow Friday morning and got into non stop Spanish Mackerel action using silver spoons and 10 lb spinning gear. Chris got a 38 inch Cobia on a live grunt. The last 2 hours of the trip were spent fighting a 5 foot Black Tip Shark. It had taken a Mackerel that Chris was bringing in on a 360 Penn Slammer with 12 lb. test. We moved 1.5 miles before we got him along side for the release.

Mike and Teresa Early from the Chicago area fished the near shore reefs with Capt. Lindy on Friday. They picked up a 56 inch Barracuda flat lining a live Lady Fish on the Wiggins 5 mile along with several Crevelle Jacks and under sized Grouper. Later that day they got a 42 inch Cobia on the Clam Pass Reef using a live Sand Perch. They also got several nice Mangrove Snapper using live shrimp and a veriety of cut bait.
